Yathi Nene Lands and Resources Inc. (YNLR), the resource development and land alienation management company in western Canada, and Baselode Energy Corporation (BEC), a private energy exploration and production company headquartered in Calgary, have signed an exploration agreement for oil and gas operations in the area.
The agreement will ensure the responsible development of the area in accordance to YNLR’s standards and provide technical assistance, safety training and ecological protection. Both companies have also committed to implementing a comprehensive environmental stewardship program along with social initiatives that will benefit the local community.
BEC will be responsible for the design, engineering, testing and operations of a modern and efficient energy exploration and production infrastructure in the area. The company will design and construct the required rigs, production wells, and infrastructure to meet the necessary environmental standards, and will also ensure that appropriate safety protocols are in place.
YNLR, in turn, will work closely with BEC to ensure that the area is monitored, maintained and protected as much as possible. This will help ensure a safe and secure development and the preservation of the area’s natural landscape and ecosystems.
